Focus on Life Celebrating Sweetness

In 1996 we built our house on what was farm ground.
That meant no trees at all. We got busy planting lots of trees and caring for them.
It was nice to see them grow but what I really wanted was for bird nests.
It took a  very long time for the trees to grow and in the last  two or three years we have had several nests.
I have enjoyed watching the mama birds protecting their young, swooping at our heads when we got too close. It's been fun to see  them grow and learn to fly.

Cute... Do you know what kind of bird it is?

That is the sweetest of the sweet. I love when the gambol quail have their babies. You see the whole families stroll by with mama and papa taking up the front and rear and all the babies in between.

Love the photo with the baby bird in a nest. Can't get much sweeter that that.
