Focus on Life

September is all about simplicity.
Today our prompt is 'One'

One being, one part, one piece.  We are all ONE.

This is a one room country school that my father and his sister and brother attended.
It's kept up by some very dedicated people in the community
It was built in 1872 and operated until 1929.
Behind it are the outhouses still in use, and a small cemetery.

Andrew Thorton's Festival of Lights Challenge

I  was so lucky to get  one of these kits.

A fabulous kit filled with wonderful colors

'Fortune Teller'
All beads are from the kit
along with brass chain and components from Vintaj.
The wonderful pendant was made by Andrew just for this challenge.
Here is a close up of the pendant

'Palm Reader'
This bracelet was made  with beads from the kit and I also added  metal, czech, glass  and copper beads along with a metal clasp.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will visit the other participants listed below

Focus on Life

September is all about simplicity.
Our prompt for this week is a window.

A window at the Boston Aquarium.
I was lucky to get a shot of this huge turtle as all the animals swam by so fast.
The aquarium was four stories tall and at the top you could see all the animals swimming around.

Focus on Life

September is all about simplicity.

Our assignment today is to take a photo of a door. I love to find unique doors an got the chance on our vacation to Washington DC. Our hotel was just a short walk to the subway and there were several lovely doors on that route.

See more doors at Sally's blog.

30 Words Thursday

Our trip to Boston was filled with lots of good things to see.
There were lots of beautiful tall ships gracefully gliding around the harbor
A beautiful sight to see!
