I don't know about you but I seem to do better at getting to the bead table when I have a little nudge.
Heather Powers is hosting a Jewelry Making Mojo Challenge on her blog.
Every Monday she posts a suggestion to get the creative juices flowing.
This week we are to create our own 'bead soup' from our stash and hopefully make something with it.
You might notice the bright colors, and that's because I am so ready to leave winter behind and for spring to take it's place.
My bead soup has some wonderful enameled beads and clasp from Bead Swede Studios, and the cutest little lampwork spacers from the Spacer Bead Shop plus a lovely charm from Gaea
And here is what I made: I switched out the round clasp for a longer one from Bead Swede.

How cute is this?! And I just love the bright pops of color and the shiny finishes -- it somehow reminds me of Easter eggs and the candy my kids would have in their baskets (or the candy that would be left after I taste tested it!)
I love it, Alice... so cheerful and spontaneous :) I just received my first clasps from Kristin, and had to restrain myself from reordering on the spot (budget) :( Her enameling is just amazing!
Super cute and happy! I hope your bracelet helps give Spring a nudge in the right direction. I'm envious of your skill making bracelets!
I love to see what talented designers create from my beads and clasps. I love the bracelet, so colorful and cheerful!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! The bright colors, the easter egg shapes, the not-so-matchy-matchy color scheme. It's so great!
