Focus on Life Getting Outside

 
Our Assignment this week is to get outside.
 
This nest hung on through winter storms  and heavy winds.
Notice the bit of colorful string at the bottom.

I have a nest just like that right outside my window, reminding me that if they can hold out until spring, I can too!

That's one of the things I love about winter - you can see all of the nests in the deciduous trees.

Great photo of an abandoned nest. I always hang out yarn scraps for the birds to use for nest building in the spring.

Wonder if the nest will get used again... lots of birds use pre built nests! Spring seems a long way off here, inspite of the lack of snow!
