52 Weeks Give Us a Smile

52 week badge

As you can guess from the title we are to share a smile.  I've never been one to share my photo so I thought I would share an older photo of my kids when they were young.

Halloween 1999. Wow how they have grown!
On the left my youngest who is now 16 and driving
In the middle my son age 21 and moved to Colorado earlier this year.
On the right is my oldest daughter who is now 24 and moved to North Carolina this year.

Oh my, the years just evaporate, don't they? Hence, such photos are so precious :)

Cute!! How fast they grow up, huh? Is your daughter enjoying NC? I am there often as part of my work, and it's one of my favourite places. Where in NC is she?

How beautiful! I just adore old family pics. I'm from NC and am wondering where your daughter is as well.

Oh you must miss them. I look through the old photos of my nieces and nephews and can't believe the reality of their present. I somehow prefer the magic of my dreamworld where they are still babies and toddlers.

How adorably cute - I love Halloween pics of kiddos - they always make you smile, don't they? Love this pic - it's so fun! The years go by a bit too fast if you ask me. :-)

Agree with Claire, photos are almost as precious as the real thing, and oh so wonderful to have.

Makes me wistful for the simple days, Alice... just got off a 2-hour phone conversation with my almost-26-year-old who is over 1900 away. Love it when they talk about the "old days" with fond remembrance. Wonderful that our kids had so much to smile about, isn't it?

I missed the bunny (?) entirely until I read the caption. I'm sure there are smiling pictures of me in Halowe'en costumes too! Lovely photo!

Adorable pic Alice! My youngest (who turns 15 next week) had the same pooh bear costume. This photo indeed brought a smile to my face. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, such a wonderful memory - I am sure you have many more like this who make you smile, even when they're far away. And surely makes them smile too, even when they miss home.

Oh goodness, how adorable they are/were. I'm sure you are missing the older two as the holidays approach, but it's great that they've set out to find how to make their marks in the world. I'm sure you gave them so much guidance to be strong, able individuals!

Oh, they look so cute. It reminded me of a picture of my two girls when they were young. Great picture.
