Focus on Life Week 22

This week is all about what's in bloom.

My garden has been neglected for a few years but our trees are looking great.

This is our Japanese Lilac tree. It smells heavenly!

The tiny buds will soon  be blooming ...click the photo to get a great closeup.
Then check Sally's blog for more blooms.

Have a great weekend!

Japanese lilacs don't sucker out like traditional lilacs do either do they? My lilacs the one I haven't removed should be blooming in a couple of weeks. They do smell nice!

Oh, Lilacs are my favorite! Do the Japanese lilacs smell like the 'traditional' ones (not sure of their real name)? This tree looks lovely!!

I have never seen a Japanese lilac tree - how pretty. Thanks for introducing it to me. And the bud photo was wonderful. Please post more photos when they all bloom.

Pretty buds! Our lilacs had a very short season this year.
