30 Words Thursday Morning Light

The morning greeted us with an amazing sight
I stood in awe at this generous gift
Overhead the geese were honking, communicating
As they journeyed on to their warmer home

In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

Isn't the tapestry of the sky a miraculous thing? It looks like a fluffy blanket hanging up there. So beautiful and so amazing that it is not edited (for the record I did edit mine just slightly with a filter of the encroaching stars). Thank you for joining in the 30 Words Challenge! Enjoy the day. Erin

Beautiful! Anyone who isn't in awe of that spectacular gift just isn't paying attention.

Sometimes the best gifts are the ones without a price tag! This is truly a beautiful sight and what a joy to be able to witness it and share it!
