Colors of Spring-Cockatoo
Today is the reveal day for Sally Russick's 'Colors of Spring' challenge. I chose Cockatoo. Our only requirement was to use the focal for the challenge. I received these lovely beads made by Sally.
This first piece is made with Sally's focal, along with a patinated metal focal component from Staci Louise, and Vintaj chain. I cheated and used the vintaj tin to represent the rest of the colors of the challenge. But sometimes I just love a simple piece.
This piece does not have any of Sally's beads in it but the colors fit the challenge. It includes Vintaj components, a sweet flowered polymer clay round from Too Aquarius, Czech beads from Lima Beads, coral Swarovski Pearls, and tiny lampwork spacers.
I had a design idea to use the white beads, along with an Industrial Chic focal, tangerine colored lampwork spacers, another flowered polymer clay bead from Too Aquarius (because I just love them) and vintaj components. Time got away from me and I didn't get to finish this one for the reveal.
Thanks, Sally for a fun challenge! Be sure to check out what the other participants created.

Alice, I love all of your pieces. The necklace is gorgeous, sometimes simple is all it needs to be. Love the Cha cha bracelet and the unfinished bracelet is going to be gorgeous when you finish it.
Therese
Alice,
Love all the pieces, a simple necklace is just my style too and the unfinished bracelet will be fantastic.
These are beautiful! The necklace is so perfect in its simplicity! I am really drawn to circles and love how you put it together. The finished bracelet is so spring and pretty! And the unfinished one is going to be gorgeous with those happy colors!
Alice! I love the necklace!! It is perfect with just the lentil, no other beads required!! The rustic feel and the uses of Staci's links! Beautifully done!
I can't wait to see the finished bracelet, it looks like it is coming together nicely!!
And the first bracelet is such a soft mix of colors! I love it!
Thank you so much for participating in the hop!!!
I agree with Therese's comments! Gorgeous! And the bracelet you are working on looks beautiful...cool beads going on!
All lovely pieces Alice. Great color combos. Your almost finished piece is super!!
Of all the colors on the Spring Pantone list, the one you got is definitely my favorite. And boy did you do it justice. I really like the simplicity of your necklace design and know that it's a piece I would totally wear. The finished bracelet is VERY spring-like and I adore the one you're working on also (I have a thing for daisies!). Great job overall!
so lovely- I really enjoy seeing what you make with my beads! Love them!
I love that bracelet! It is so colorful and elegant! Great job on all of your pieces!
Just started following your blog. Love the focal in your first necklace with the contrasting black - gorgeous...the 2nd bracelet looks like it would be fun to wear...and I will look forward to seeing the completion of the last bracelet - that one with the small floral focal and Sally's beads looks devine already ~JLynn
Love the necklace - simple but n a stunning way - beautiful!
Along with the rest I really like the simplicity of the focal and rings. Will be watching for pics of the finished bracelet too. I have a fondness for daisy's too!!
So beautiful sweet Alice!! That first necklace is simply Perfect!!xoxox
Love your necklace, and the bracelet that doesn't have the Sally beads. I think the unfinished bracelet is going to be fantastic, those polymer beads are great!
I just love everything you made! So bright and cheery! I love the combo of the middle bracelet. I love how you used the focal with the staci components. The third one looks like a winner too!
What beautiful work, Alice! You were on a creative streak, creating (just about!) 3 pieces! I especially love the bracelets - the colors and dangles really make it!
I so love your first necklace the best. That is totally my style of jewelry. And I like where you are going with the last piece. Thanks for sharing your beauty with the world, Miss Alice!
Enjoy the day!
Erin
