I never thought that I would see
A tomato as lovely as thee
Ripe and perfectly formed
Born in the winter chill
And tended to so lovingly
A blessing indeed.
My father in law recently built a small green house. This is just one of the tomatoes that came from that green house. I can't wait to eat it.
It looks absolutely yummy. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYUM! Beautiful shot of a tasty 'fruit' and fab job of being so concise with your words. They made me smile too. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, how beautiful! A true tomato in winter. Your father-in-law's greenhouse must be heated. What a treat!
ReplyDeleteThat tomato looks absolutely Delicious! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteThank you for making me crave a real tomato, Alice :( Hubby wants a greenhouse "someday"... maybe when he retires in a couple of years. I hope!
ReplyDeleteWow! That tomato is so full and luscious it makes me think of hothouse summers and BLTs instead of icicles and frost. Thanks for joining me in the 30 Words Challenge! Enjoy the day. Erin
ReplyDeleteLooks so good... don't you just hate the sad winter grocery store tomatoes? You are lucky your father-in-law shares!
